Image 2 PINGPLOTTER.png shows a plot.
Image 1 is a WinMTR run with a Route that corresponds to the output of a 'tracert ping.ams.h1z1.com'
in a Win Cmd Window.

As you can see hop 9 is missing in the plot.
The Count of hop 8 is less than the other Counts, due to the fact
that this hop has an occasionally changing Ip and Name.

Is this behavior a Pingplotter Bug?

Sincerily, Han

Hey Han!

How are you doing? It's great to hear from you.

The odd thing here is that different packets take different routes sometimes, and routes can change based on timing. I bet if you reset/restart your trace a few times, you'll see different routes show up. It's definitely interesting to watch, but we've never seen a bug in which PingPlotter takes an incorrect route to the destination.

Let us know if you have any other questions!

Hi Hayla,
Thanks for your fast reply.
Stupid me.
I was using Pingplotter with UDP Packet tries, instead of the default.
Had some good reason to do so for 1 occasion, but forgot to set it back.
This explains all.
Now the plot looks fine.
Sorry for the inconvenience!
Han
