It would be nice to have a button on the tool bar to silnce a curent, on-going alert condition. Presently, one has to go into the Alert Setup and remove the targets in order to keep an alram from sounding while you work on the problem.

Good idea! In general I think that selecting targets should be made more "intuitive". Of course the "ALL" function is nice.

However, I have an alert that fires when a host gets above 80ms. Unfortunately, I have 6 hosts that always are above 80ms so those shouldn't be included in this alert. This means that I manually should select 240 hosts in the alert setup. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />

Perhaps there could be a "select all" and then afterwards one could remove those single hosts that shouldn't be included.

I attach a screenshot from an application that has this form of selection.
