i've poked through the faq and support forums, and i'm not finding exactly what i'm looking for - so perhaps this would fall under 'suggestions', but perhaps there's already a solution!

i've been on the 'net since 1986, so have been tracerouting since the equivalent of the pleistocene era. one aspect of standard unix ping that seems to be missing from pingplotter is the 'final results' output from an interval of pings - to wit:

64 bytes from 206.176.234.11: icmp_seq=65. time=71. ms
^C
----206.176.234.11 PING Statistics----
66 packets transmitted, 66 packets received, 0% packet loss
round-trip (ms) min/avg/max = 66/93/214
root-klaatu /%

i miss that. or at least, i miss the ability to cut and paste that into a message to another experienced admin/network engineer, so they can see the summary of what was tested.

is there anyway to generate such output - maybe even in the exact same format?

thanks in advance.
