Under Windows 98, it *appears* to be hogging all the CPU (ie: it shows that it's using 100%), but my tests in that situation always show that it's not really using the CPU to the extent that the CPU monitor shows.<br><br>Incidentally, the TRACERT utility does the same thing (uses 100% CPU) when it's getting timeouts as well.<br><br>I've concluded that it's a reporting anomoly with the Windows 98 ICMP services. Windows NT/2000 don't seem to have the same problems, though.<br><br>
