Please see attached for pingplotter test.

From the time I purchased TWC services of 200mbps internet, I regretted it because of the packet loss I have been getting. I have a Asus TM-AC1900 router and a Arris Surfboard SB6183 modem. I am not internet smart but I know the modem and router are good quality and the Ethernet Cables I use are all cat-5E no further then 50 meters connected.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

-Thanks

Hey truth626,

Thanks for checking out and using the forums!

After taking a look at your screenshot you attached (thanks for that by the way), things do look a little bit harsh.

You can clearly see packet loss starting at hop #2, and carrying through to the final destination. This would indicate that there is some sort of issue somewhere between hops 1 (which I believe is your modem) and hop 2, which looks like it *may* be a device outside of your home network.

Here is a guide that helps you interpret Latency and Packet Loss:

and then here is a guide for more specifically pinpointing the problem:

Lastly, here is our ultimate guide for troubleshooting and solving network problems:

Hopefully, that will point you in the right direction to solve this. If not, please let us know. You can email us at any time at support@pingplotter.com

Cheers!
