Hello.
I'm having disconnects while playing (World of Tanks in this case)
and when I alt+tab to pingplotter it's always hop 4 or 5 that looks bad.
This is going on for years but recently I have changed ISP and
got optic fiber so I thought there will be no more disconnects but it was the same so I bought new network card and cable...still same problems.
Contacted ISP and they say there are no problems.

Hi Goc16v,

Thanks for reaching out - I"m happy to offer some advice here!

It's difficult to say for certain with only a screenshot, but there does seem to be an issue starting mid-route in your ISP's network.

If you can click File -> Create Share Page and copy/paste the URL in your reply, I'd be happy to take a closer look at your data and shed some light on the issue.

If you'd like to do more with PingPlotter, I'm happy to send you a promotional code for 25% off PingPlotter Standard! This way, you'll be able to collect and view up to 48 hours worth of data and be able to trace 2 targets simultaneously. Click here to check out more features of PingPlotter Standard.

For more details about bringing a case to your ISP, see this article:

Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns!

All the best,

Austin Berner

Hi Goc16v,

Thanks for providing that Share Page!

I pulled the data into my instance of PingPlotter, and there does seem to be one disconnect starting at hop# 5.

To build a compelling case for your ISP, I would recommend collecting as much data as you can that exhibits the problem. For instance, run PingPlotter and make a note of when disconnects happen. If remaining on PingPlotter Free, you can use the File -> Save Image button to save a screenshot of your graph.

Compile the data you have into a document and present it to your ISP. This guide can offer some guidance.

Let me know if there's anything else I can do to assist!

All the best,

Austin Berner
