Hi,

I've installed Pingplotter to try and help me diagnose a problem I am getting in iRacing. The problem seems to be related to packet loss. When I run the trace on the iRacing servers it is showing severely high packet loss from hops 5 & 6. Can anyone help me understand where this issue is? Is it my ISP or me?

I have attached a screenshot.

Hi Adam,

Thanks for getting in touch!

I took a look at the screenshot you provided - and I don't seem to see any glaring issues. That might come as a surprise to you - the packet loss on those two hops does look bad. However, when that packet loss doesn't carry through to the final hop - you can disregard it. We're looking for packet loss starting somewhere, affecting the final hop .
