Hi,
I am providing non zero ToS/DSCP field value in pingplotter pro utility. the DSCP value in wireshark packet caputre always shows 0. I need to find a tool that does the functionality of "ping -v" on Windows 7, please help. thanks.

Srinivas

Hi, Srinivas.

Sadly, Windows 7 (and Vista) has pretty much disabled application-defined DSCP values. If you need to test network handling of different DSCP values, you pretty much have to go back to Windows XP.

Sorry I don't have better news on this. We've yet to find a solution for DSCP values on Windows 7.

Best wishes,
Pete
