My configuration is a (new) Terayon TJ715 cable modem feeding a NetGear FVS318 router, with 7 PCs on the router's switch. All systems USED to run PingPlotter just fine. All but one (my main system, of course) continue to run PP fine. But my main system will NOT allow PP, or even the PING utility(!), to ping beyond the router (even as other systems on the LAN do so!). This system does, however, access the Internet through the Web and other applications, just fine.

Let me emphasize that it's only this one Windows XP system (there are other XP systems) on the LAN that is exhibiting this odd behavior (which makes it likely that the new cable modem has nothing to do with this).

Since PING itself doesn't work, I assume this is NOT a PingPlotter issue, but I can't find what may have changed that keeps this particular system from pinging beyond the router.

Any ideas? <img src="/forums/images/icons/confused.gif" alt="" />
