i've read through most of that thanks but i still feel confused with it all! sorry!

i started tracing 192.168.1.1 and it shows everything fine when the 100% packet loss happens but like i said my isp said its not them.

I also just noticed changing the interval that it collects the data from .5 sec to 2.5 sec(i figured it was better to always be checking for the drops) now its showing no packet loss to the router...
