Hey there,

Thanks for submitting those share pages!

I looked over the data and it looks like your local network connection is pretty healthy. Even with 1-2% packet loss to Google (which is within normal range), that's not too bad. The latency is a tad high, but this is most likely due to the route your trace is taking.

The trace to this Fortnite server definitely looks odd though. As you can see at hop 9, the route switches from LA to Paris (which adds a HUGE amount of latency). It's possible that this may not be the correct server anymore. But if it is, then that would explain why you're having such a poor gaming experience.

At this point, I would recommend doing some further research to confirm the game server IP address you're using. Fortnite has a pretty heavy user/mod presence on their forums, and their support team may be able to help as well. Here's what we've gathered:

Here are some steps for finding and troubleshooting a game server:

*I'm not sure what platform you're using, but I would recommend downloading and using Fortnite on Mac or Windows for this test.*

1. Close all other applications, open up an active session of Fortnite, and use the "netstat -b" command. Copy/paste the output to a text editor, ex. notepad

2. Then, run the command a second time after closing down your game.

3. Cross-reference your results. The address that displays in the first result, but not the second, *should* be your game server.

Or if you're interested, you could contact their support team and ask for the IP/port number of your server:

We have an awesome article regarding lag in online games that may help:

Lastly, there is also a chance that your ISP can help - they can potentially help you re-route this connection or find a better server

I hope that helps! Please feel free to reach out with any other questions.

All the best,
-Austin
