Hi,

Long time user, first time poster. I upgraded over the weekend to 10.15 Catalina. When I try to open my much loved program, it crashes. Here's the headline:

Is there a point release I am missing or another way to get PingPlotter to work again?

Hey rlindenschmidt,

Thanks for getting in touch! Sorry to hear this is happening - but thanks for being a long-time PingPlotter user!

First of all, how is Catalina? I've heard great things.

Second, we were able to get our hands on a copy of Catalina - and we updated PingPlotter for macOS to support Catalina. That functionality was enabled in 5.11.5 (and it looks like you're running 5.10.4).

The easiest way for you to update (if you're current on maintenance) would be to enter your license key here:

https://www.pingman.com/account/download/?key=

You can then download the latest Mac build, move it to Applications, and be ready to go!

If that doesn't seem to work for you, feel free to reply here or write in to our support (support@pingman.com). We're happy to help!

Thank you for the quick response! Really refreshing to get an answer so quickly. I really appreciate it.

I dunno, I keep reading that Catalina is Apple's Vista. I have to say either I'm lucky or people love to complain. Updated without incident and everything is running fine.

Thank you for pointing me to the update. Not sure why I hadn't updated already. Happily tracing my connectivity again (and in Dark Mode!). Thanks again.
