Hi!
I'm a CATV engineer and a new user of Ping Plotter and Multiping.
In my network I have learned that a packet loss abouth 1% is "killing" VOIP. In the CATV business it's recommended absolute max packet loss of abouth 0,5 % for voip. In practice it seems correct. I was able to tune in my CATV network from abouth 1,5% down to average packet loss below 0,3% and voip now works fine. It had been nice to be able to see the value of losses under 1% while pinging. I'm running pingtest with 512 byte packets trying to simulate voip as close as possible : <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif" alt="" />
