Hello,

I am doing this for an assignment and need some quick help getting set up. When I select an address and hit trace, my computer's network connection tells me a cable is unplugged and then says it is connected again. During this time the timeline graph is showing large solid chunks of red. The graph to the right is showing a red diagonal line across the hops that read 100% packet loss. The Cur column is reading ERR. What is going on? Please help.

You're probably using a BEFSX41 router, right? That post has some links / information on how to solve that problem.
