Perhapes the machine is to slow. It is a Pentium II 350 mhz with 128 RAM running Windows 98SE fresh install.

RealVNC, AVG Anti Virus and Tiny Personal Firewall are the only other programs running on it besides the latest registered version of Multiping.

About every 24 hours it sets off one of the alarms sounds (even though the servers that it monitors are running fine) and locks up.

Reboot is the only way to get things running again.

Nothing in any of the logs.

Resources are at 78 - 80 percent free.

Any ideas?
