Alert Message via Chat protocol

It would be nice to have it send me a instant message to my AOL Screen name. I already have my aol screen name setup to forward incoming IM messages to my cell phone if I am not available.

If you know of a command line utility that will send AOL messages, then you can set up MultiPing with the "Launch an executable" event type to launch that command line utility.

We're unlikely to add native support for AOL, since we've not had a lot of requests for this. If you can find the right tool we could interface with, we might be able to write a knowledgebase article on it so we can officially support it...

I use a windows IM client called Miranda. Its Free and supports all protocols AFAIK.

Miranda has a plugin which does allows an external program to send a chat message via commandline.
