identifying ip that i ping

i use multi ping: i need to be able to change a ip address to a name i have a couple of freinds that i keep a track of there connection and i have to look up there name then try to figure out what there ip address is. if there is anyway to change a ip to a name or just add a note to know who is who. thnx
