Alerts with MultiPing - 09/06/05 01:29 AM

Hello, I currently have PingPlotter, but what I would like to do currently doesn't seem feasible in it, so I'm hoping MultiPing can do the trick.

Can you setup MultiPing to have alerts based off two different ping sets? So if I'm pinging say host 1 and host 2, if host 1 fails the test and host 2 fails the test to not send the alert, but if host 1 fails and host 2 is still okay to send the alert.

This may seem odd to you, but it seems to me a good way to prevent excess alerts being sent when your ISP isn't so great.

Sorry - there's no way, currently, to have any dependencies between hosts / alerts like you're talking about. We have some prototype work done on this front, but nothing in any current or imminent-releasing product.

We'll add your name to the enhancement request.

Thank you!
