So the alerts dont give me the hostname. testing the $year works fine ....

It looks like there is a bug in both 1.00 and the recently released 1.01 that causes the $host variable to *not* to be correctly parsed in Email subject lines (it works fine in Tray Icon alerts, however).

A workaround for this is to create separate alerts for each host you want to monitor, and then manually enter the subject line for each alert to match the target you will be associating it with. You'll then need to associate each alert to the appropriate target.

If you're a licensed user and this solution is untenable, let us know and we'll create a prerelease version that fixes this problem. If this is the case, please send an email to support@multiping.com and we'll send you instructions.
