Non-default gateway - 12/04/05 02:12 PM

Can the future versions of PingPlotter use the gateway which is not defined as default gateway in system, for its work ?

We can currently ping through a non-default interface (in case you have multiple network interfaces on the same machine), but not a gateways. You you describe your scenario so we understand this well? This is the first time we've had this request.

As I understand, for example, if I have two network interfaces, and the default interface has no gateway defined, the trace will go through other interface which have gateway defined in properties ?

I have two Internet connections and two different gateways. (and two net interfaces, but it have no meaning) <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
As I see, PingPlotter's traces through gefault (or other defined as GW, if the defaut lis dead) gateway, and it's no way to make it trace through other (user-defined) gateway, if it's not defined as GW in system.
