Execute BAT file on ALERT

Execute BAT file on ALERT - 05/09/01 11:45 PM

I'd like to be able to launch a batch file when an Alert gets triggered. In particular, I'm interested in trigging the BAT on timeouts exceeding XX minutes.

It looks to me like you are ->this<- close to having that feature already (in v2.03 at least).

BTW, Ping Plotter is a great utility -- I've chewed through countless other ones -- this is the first one that's stuck. Thanks!

I've had the suggestion several other times. I do have some rework of the alert system scheduled for a future release, but I can't make any promises exactly when. Version 2.30 is in final, final testing and waiting for help file updates to be completed - and then I can move on to new features for the next version. I'll make sure your comments are added to the "Execute something when an alert fires" suggestion. Thanks!
