hi
we had a trial version of pingplotter. That has run out and it is still being evaluated whether the org we work for will purchase it. In the meantime, i have uninstalled the software, without realising it was going as a service. All of the documentation says we MUST stop the service before uninstalling. I did not do this before uninstalling. What will happen and how do I rectify this?

The answer to this depends on what version of PingPlotter Pro you had installed. If you were using 3.20p or newer, then everything should have uninstalled by itself without any event / problems.

If you were using a version before 3.20p (like 3.10p), then the service still remains - the easiest way to solve this is just to install the latest (currently 3.20.1p) and then uninstall it again - that should clean up everything.
