Too much traffic?

Will running Ping Plotter with a 1 second interval for days on end piss off my ISP or any others along the way? ICMP aside, the traffic can't be any worse than people running P2P, right? I just wan't to make sure they don't pull my plug.

We've never heard any reports of anyone getting upset about any end user running PingPlotter with any trace interval. There are a lot of ISPs that own and use PingPlotter in their normal day-to-day operations.

Neither of these things guarantees that an ISP won't get upset for some reason or another - but you're probably pretty safe. If you want to make sure, you can always ask them.
