The lost hop - blank 2nd hop

This outside my technical area and I haven't been able to find a similar issue in the forums, so....

I have attached screen grab that shows no information for the hop from the router to the first of the ISPs servers. Well, no information except a lot of errors and packet loss. Whats happening? Thanks - Mike

This is a pretty common issue that we see with routers and edge devices - this just means that the device isn't configured to respond to the types of packets we send out. You can see more about this here:
