need some help figuring out what this means on these two graphs.

Thanks for reaching out!

I took a look at your PingPlotter data that you attached and it looks like your packet loss may starts around hop 8 or 9 on the Cloudflare trace.

You may also notice that you are getting a high percentage of packet loss from hop #1 which is your router. This is an example of downprioritizing ICMP packets which is what PingPlotter uses to collect data (this is normally done to make space for higher priority traffic). It is important to note this is not actual packet loss that you experience while using the internet. A way around this is to run a trace directly to your router (Hop #1) while tracing to your other targets.

By tracing to your router directly your router should respond to ICMP requests and give you a much clearer view of what is happening at that hop.
